Call for rule change on appointment of junior ministers

Rules on the appointment of junior Government ministers must be changed to stop TDs changing portfolios at will, the Dáil heard today.

Referring to recent controversies involving minister of state positions, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny called for amendments to current legislation.
