Cowen publishes revised budget estimates for 2006

Finance Minister Brian Cowen has published revised Budget estimates for 2006.

The changes to the spending plans announced on Budget day include the withdrawal of €50m from the decentralisation budget.

Mr Cowen has also increased the 2006 allocation from the Dormant Accounts Fund by €65m and planned capital investment in secondary schools by €25m.
