Irish spending on heart disease 'second lowest in EU'

Research has reportedly found that Ireland's spending on treatment for cardiovascular disease is the second lowest in the EU.

Reports this morning said the EU study found that Ireland spent 4.4% of its healthcare budget in 2003 on treating diseases that affect the heart and circulatory system.
