Police launch probe after Belfast house fire

Police are today investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire at a house in west Belfast.

The blaze in the Ballymurphy Road area was reported by a passer-by at about 10.10pm last night.

Fire officers attended the scene and extinguished the fire before any substantial damage was caused, police said.

No injuries were reported as the house was vacant at the time.
