Labour Youth protests in Dublin over firing of Dunnes employee

A protest took place outside a Dunnes Stores shop in Dublin's North Earl Street this afternoon.

Labour Youth organised the picket in support of 22 year old former employee, Joanne Delaney.

She claims that she was fired for wearing her union pin on her uniform in November of last year.

Joanne said she had also begun unfair dismissal proceedings against Dunnes Stores.
