Gardaí investigating suspicious death in Co Wexford

Gardaí in Co Wexford are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in her 50s in the town of Gorey yesterday.

The woman died in hospital a few hours after being found lying in the yard of the pub that she operatied at Clonattin, on the outskirts of the town, yesterday morning.

The scene has been preserved for forensic examination, while a post mortem will be carried out today to determine the cause of her death.
