Young man dies in two-car collision in Galway

A man in his 20s has died after the car he was driving collided with another vehicle in Loughrea, Co Galway, early this morning.

The accident happened at around 12.30am in the Kilmeen area.

The driver and front-seat passenger of the second car were also seriously injured in the crash and are being treated at Portiuncula Hospital.
