Rafferty family bring campaign to US

The family of murdered Dublin man Joseph Rafferty are flying out to America today to meet US politicians.

They are hoping to gain support for their campaign to bring Mr Rafferty's killer to justice.

His family believe he was murdered by a member of the IRA last April, and that Sinn Féin is obstructing an investigation into the incident, shielding the killer.

Joseph's sister Esther said that they are hoping for a similar reaction and support to that received by the sisters of Belfast man Robert McCartney last year.
