Two women die in Tyrone crash

Two women died tonight following a horror collision in Co Tyrone.

A PSNI spokesman said two cars were involved in the accident on the A29, the main Dungannon to Cookstown road.

One victim was a passenger but no details have been released about the second fatality.

A number of people were taken to hospital following the incident, which happened shortly after 5pm.

Police said officers were anxious to trace the drivers or occupants of any white vans travelling towards Cookstown at the time.
