Minister wants probe into greyhound chief's sacking

Sports Minister John O’Donoghue tonight called for an independent investigation into the controversial sacking of the chief executive of Bord na gCon in the wake of a greyhound doping scandal.

The Minister has received a report on the dismissal of Aidan Tynan and the management of drugs offences from Bord na gCon chairman Paschal Taggart.
