Two charged with attempted murder after Tyrone police chase

Two men are due in court in the north this morning charged with attempted murder, after a car chase during which police opened fire.

They were arrested by PSNI officers searching for the occupants of a vehicle, who allegedly tried to knock down an officer in Co Tyrone on Thursday.

The two men were charged last night and are due to appear at Omagh Magistrates’ Court later today.
