A woman who denies handling stolen paintings from the Beit Collection attended hospital on the day of the theft, a Dublin Circuit Criminal Court jury has heard.

Ms Rosemary Quinn (aged 48) of St Aongus Park, Tallaght has pleaded not guilty to handling the paintings, "Madame Baccelli" by Thomas Gainsborough and "A View of Florence" by Bernardo Belotto, on June 26, 2001.
