Detective admits to working in Iraq while on sick-leave
A policeman in the North has admitted to earning hundreds of pounds a day as a bodyguard in Iraq, while he was on official sick leave at home.
Detective Constable Charles Metcalfe, 40, from Newtownards, admitted in Downpatrick Court to charges of false accounting of sickness certificates.
