A man was stabbed in the throat at a house in Shannon, Co Clare, gardaí said today.

A man was stabbed in the throat at a house in Shannon, Co Clare, gardaí said today.

The 21-year-old is being treated at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Limerick but his injuries are not life-threatening.
