Two dead following separate road accidents yesterday evening

Two people are dead following two separate road accidents yesterday evening.

In Tipperary, a woman in her 80s died instantly after her car collided with a van at around five o'clock yesterday.

The incident happened on the N62 between Birr and Roscrea.

And in Kingscourt in County Cavan, a 57-year-old man was killed in a two-car collision at around 11.30 last night.

Two male occupants of the second car were injured in the accident and are being treated at Navan Hospital
