Polls show increased support for Govt coalition

The Government has received a boost this morning, as the latest opinion polls show it to be the preferred choice of voters after the next general election.

A total of 39% of voters questioned by the TNS/MRBI poll, published in today’s Irish Times, want to see Fianna Fáil and the PDs return to office - an increase of eight points since a poll conducted in September.
