C&D workers to be told of company’s plans today

Workers at the C&D Foods factory in Co Longford are reportedly set to learn today if any of their jobs will be saved following last Sunday's fire.

Reports this morning said management at the pet-food plant in Edgeworthstown had invited union representatives to a meeting to discuss plans for the future of the company.
