FG MEP seeks independent investigation of LUAS problems

Fine Gael MEP Gay Mitchell is calling for the Oireachtas transport committee to investigate problems with the LUAS tracks in Dublin.

A series of studies has uncovered problems with the binding material beneath the tracks, with one report concluding that complicated new concrete supports will have to be manufactured in order to rectify the situation.
