Statistics on schools to be made available from this year

Detailed statistics on Ireland's primary and secondary schools will reportedly be made available to parents for the first time by the end of this year.

This morning's newspapers say the first batch of inspectors' reports will be available on the Department of Education's website by Easter, with hundreds more to be made public by December.
