Cyclist in critical condition after collision with truck

A female cyclist is in a serious condition in hospital in following a road accident in Dublin city centre.

It is understood that she was involved in a collision with a truck at the junction of North King Street and Stoneybatter.

The truck driver has also been taken to the Mater Hospital and emergency services are at the scene.

The road has been blocked, and traffic diversions are in place.
