Derry: Six held after spate of violent attacks on police
Six people have been arrested in Derry after bricks and bottles were thrown at police in the early hours of this morning.
The disturbances happened in the Gallea area of the city at about 2am today.
The two girls and four men arrested were aged between 16 and 21.
The youngest male was released with a caution, while the others have been charged with a range of offences, including assault on a police officer and possession of an offensive weapon.
