Bottle-throwing teen escapes conviction

A teenager who threw a glass bottle at a Garda patrol car, and missed, was today given the benefit of the Probation Act.

Stephen Fitzgerald (aged 18) was drinking with friends in Ballymun on October 31 last when he spotted a patrol car.
