McAleese praises Irish donations to relief efforts

President McAleese has praised the millions of euro Irish people have donated to help the victims of this year’s natural disasters.

Aid agencies were involved in the aftermath of the tsunami last St Stephens Day and the earthquake in Pakistan, as well as a number of on-going relief efforts.
