Many primary schools ‘having trouble recruiting principals’

The Irish Primary Principals Network has claimed many primary schools are having trouble recruiting principals because of salary problems and excessive workloads.

The organisation says 12 vacancies had to be re-advertised this year, despite offering salaries of between €70,000 and €90,000.
