Action needed to help poorer youths quit smoking

The anti-smoking group ASH Ireland is calling for action to combat higher levels of smoking among disadvantaged youths.

An EU study has found that socially disadvantaged adolescents with lower levels of education are significantly more likely to smoke, mainly due to a lack of knowledge about health risks.
