A 64-year-old woman has died following a collision between a car and a 4x4 vehicle in Co Limerick yesterday evening.

A 64-year-old woman has died following a collision between a car and a 4x4 vehicle in Co Limerick yesterday evening.

The accident, which happened just before 6pm at the Daar Bridge in Newcastle West, forced the closure of the road between the town and Ardagh for a number of hours.
