Ahern wants official explanation for British spy
The Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern has said that he will be demanding answers from the British government following the latest revelation in the 'Stormontgate' affair.
Sinn Féin official Denis Donaldson's admitted he spied for the British for two decades - Dermot Ahern says he finds the whole business 'intriguing' and 'murky'.
Mr Ahern meets Northern Secretary Peter Hain in Belfast on Monday and he has vowed that he will raise the matter and look for an explanation.
He said the British may well have one ready but said it remains to be seen whether he will get satisfactory answers.
