Churches to hold collections for earthquake victims

Vital funds will be collected at churches across the capital this weekend to aid survivors of the devastating earthquake in Pakistan.

Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Dr Diarmuid Martin, asked parishes in the diocese to hold a special collection on Sunday, December 18 to help provide some aid for the three million people who lost their homes last October.
