The Tánaiste and Minister for Health Mary Harney has said the Government will not allow protestor Marie Therese O'Loughlin, who alleges abuse in a private care home, to have her case heard by the Residential Institutions Redress Board.

Ms O'Loughlin has been protesting outside the Dáil for the past four months seeking to have her case heard by the board.
