McDowell defends claims of Frank Connolly’s link to IRA

The Minister for Justice Michael McDowell has defended the claims he made linking journalist Frank Connolly to an 'IRA plot'.

Minister McDowell claims he was he was protecting the security of the State when he told the Dáil that Mr Connolly had travelled to Colombia on a false passport.
