Body of man found in north Dublin

The body of a man has been discovered in Ballymun, north Dublin this morning.

The 28-year-old man was found dead in the stairwell of a building on Shangan Road at around 5am.

The man’s name has not yet been released.

Gardaí have reported that he suffered head injuries.

The body is to remain at the scene for examination by the State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau.
