Harney to withhold health workers’ pay increases

Pay increases for some health workers are to be withheld because of their failure to meet certain conditions under the Sustaining Progress agreement.

The Health Minister Mary Harney has written to the HSE saying she would not sanction the 1.5% increase due later this month, because industrial relation issues have not been resolved.
