The Vintners' Federation of Ireland (VFI) is bitterly disappointed by the failure of the Minister for Finance to reduce the current exorbitant excise duties on alcohol.

Seamus O'Donoghue, President, VFI reacted by saying that it would appear that this decision will further undermine Ireland's competitiveness especially with regard to tourism.
