Body of man recovered from River Boyne

The body of a man has been recovered from the River Boyne in Drogheda.

River rescue workers discovered the body at the Boyne Cable Bridge at around 1.30pm this afternoon.

The man has not yet been identified but gardaí believe he was aged between 30 and 40.
