North: Robbers hold up petrol station workers
Police appealed for information today after two robbers held up terrified petrol station workers’ at knifepoint.
Two men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives entered the petrol station on the Red Lion Road in Armagh shortly before 9pm last night.
The PSNI said the men forced two members of staff to hand over cash.
After the robbers made their getaway on foot into a nearby field, one man was arrested.
Police appealed for anyone who witnessed the hold-up to contact detectives at Armagh police station.
