Rescuers resume search for missing lobster boat skipper

The Coastguard is this morning resuming its search for the skipper of a lobster boat that sank off the Wexford coast earlier this week.

Pat Colfer has been missing since the 26ft Rising Sun capsized and sank near the Saltee Islands on Tuesday evening.

The other two crew members on board the boat were rescued from the water a number of hours later, but one subsequently died from hypothermia.

Rescuers believe they have located the Rising Sun at the bottom of the sea near the Saltee Islands and divers are due to examine the wreck later today.
