€7m worth of cannabis seized

Gardaí seized €7m worth of cannabis resin today in the second major haul of the drug this week.

Officers from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation found one tonne of cannabis in a van they stopped on the M1 at Whitehall, Dublin, shortly after 1pm this afternoon.
