The former bishop of Galway Doctor James Mc Loughlin has died at the aged of 76.

The former bishop of Galway Doctor James Mc Loughlin has died at the aged of 76.

He was appointed to the post by Pope John Paul II after the departure of Eamon Casey in 1993 and had retired last July.
