14-year-old dies after being knocked down by truck

A 14-year-old boy has died after being knocked down by a truck in Co Kerry this morning.

The accident happened at around 8.45am in the Clash area of Tralee.

The youngster died a short time later in hospital.

Gardaí are withholding his name until all next of kin are informed.
