North: Man charged with double loyalist murder

A 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of two teenagers as part of a loyalist feud in Co Armagh more than five years ago.

Nineteen-year-old Andrew Robb and 18-year-old David McIlwaine, both from Portadown, were stabbed to death in February 2000 as part of the feud between the rival UVF and LVF.

The pair were abducted after a night out in the village of Tandragee.

Their bodies were later found dumped on a nearby roadside.

The man accused of their murder is due in court in Armagh today, while a second man is still being questioned by the PSNI about the double killing.
