Police in the North have arrested five people, including a leader of the Ulster Defence Association, during an operation against loyalist paramilitaries in Belfast today.

Andre Shoukri, the UDA leader in north Belfast, was among four men and a woman detained during raids in the north and east of the city by police investigating organised crime.
