Govt to ratify UN convention on tobacco control today

The Government is set to ratify the World's Health Organisation's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control today.

Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern is expected to sign the document and forward it to the UN ahead of tomorrow's deadline.
