Govt refuses to investigate waste facility
Farmers today accused a Dáil committee of double standards after it refused to tackle complaints about toxic red mud ponds in Limerick.
The Environment committee turned down the request to investigate the waste facility at the Aughinish Alumina factory on the grounds that it is currently the subject of legal action.
