NIB to make last-ditch attempt to avert postal strike

The National Implementation Body (NIB) is expected to call both sides in the An Post dispute to further talks today in a last-ditch effort to avert strike action at the company.

The Communications Workers Union is planning to take action in pursuit of pay rises due under the Sustaining Progress agreement. Its strike notice is due to expire tonight.
