Lane gallery presents House of Commons with Churchill portrait

The Hugh Lane Gallery has presented the House of Commons in London with a portrait of Winston Churchill.

The 1915 work by John Lavery is on loan to the British Parliament.

The oil on canvas painting has been on show at the Hugh Lane since 1935 and according to experts is a priceless work of art.
