Rabbitte says reconciliation must precede Irish unity

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte has called on Sinn Féin to accept that a united Ireland is not achievable in the foreseeable future.

Mr Rabbitte made the comments during a debate on a Sinn Féin motion calling on the Government to publish a green paper discussion document on the issue.
