A total of 46 solicitors' firms have reportedly been asked to attend meetings of a Law Society committee investigating complaints relating to child abuse cases.

The committee was established to investigation allegations that some solicitors were over-charging abuse victims seeking compensation from the Residential Institutions Redress Board.
