The Royal College of Surgeons has reportedly recommended the ending of emergency surgery at the Louth County Hospital in Dundalk.

Reports this morning said the body had recommended that all emergency surgery in the area be carried out instead at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
