North: British MPs to investigate organised crime

The British government has announced plans to hold a parliamentary inquiry into the nature and impact of organised crime in the North.

The inquiry will be conducted by the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee at Westminster and will also examine the effectiveness of efforts to combat crime gangs.
