McGuinness: 'On-the-run' immunity a 'sensible move'

Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness said today that proposed new laws providing immunity for paramilitary fugitives is a sensible move.

Northern Secretary Peter Hain is due to introduce the legislation shortly. He has said that, sometimes, undesirable things have to be done in the interests of conflict resolution.
